GORILLARODEO.COM Reviews "Shoot-Out"

We would like to thank the wonderful folks over at GorillaRodeo.com for reviewing our project "Shoot-Out." An excellent review that was put together in prompt fashion. "Shoot-Out" is also their websites current "Pick of the Day" which can be found on their homepage, http://www.gorillarodeo.com/ .

Here's an excerpt, "With a storyline that places so much emphasis on the outcome, it would have been easy to drop the ball in the last few minutes, but Shoot-Out delivers. The end is thought provoking and will have audiences discussing it long afterward."

Dumb Distraction Reviews Shoot-Out

Our latest review is from Dumb Distraction's Micah. Incredible review, here are some of his thoughts, "Hell, I generally hate sports movies, yet I found myself holding my breath as each man got closer and closer to scoring 15 points. Usually when I watch indie shorts, I go in ready to grant the actors and the filmmakers a certain level of slack, because they're new, they're inexperienced, and they're trying to make it in this big tough world. Well, I'm happy to report that no such slack was needed here."

World's Greatest Critic J.C. Macek III Reviews Shoot-Out and Gives it 4.5 Stars out of 5!

We are overwhelmed with the latest review of "Shoot-Out" by the man who refers to himself as the World's Greatest Critic. When we first contacted J.C. Macek III, he let us know his review standards, "It's my pleasure to review independent films, just so long as the makers respect the fact that my opinion will be honest and fair, and that it's understood that my writing style is primarily comical. In short, no hurt feelings intended."

Well, what did he have to say about "Shoot-Out?" This is just a snippet...

"I'm not being overly generous to tell you that Shoot-Out is a triumph, a surprising, well planned, well acted, well shot, well scored and well directed triumph. Shoot-Out is a prime representative of the very best kind of independent short film. It knows the story it needs to tell, and it tells it perfectly within the exact time constraints that it requires, without hubris or self-indulgence, but with one hell of a memorable beginning, middle and end."

Critics Review Shoot-Out

Press has begun to roll in for our latest film, "Shoot-Out."

We would like to thank Duane L. Martin of Rogue Cinema who reviewed our film immediately upon receiving it.

He wrote an amazing review, here is an excerpt...

"I never cease to be amazed what people can do with home, semi-pro, and even prosumer equipment nowadays. Things that used to take tens of thousands of dollars, if not more, can now be shot and produced on a relatively miniscule budget. Just recently, shorts like Broken, Artie Saves the Hood, and now Shoot-Out have all really impressed me with the creativity and technical skill used to create highly memorable short films."

We would also like to thank Chad Connolly of MvMMDI (moviesmademe.com) and his prompt review of our film as well. A guy who admits he is not a fan of sports movies but really enjoyed our film.

Another fantastic review. Here is a quote...

"If you're interested in short films and enjoy a movie that will make you think (especially that ending), give this one a shot when it hits DVD."

Dream Regime Productions Reveals Latest Film

A lot of people have been wondering and inquiring about our latest projects. Our first few films have already reached thousands of viewers and counting. After doing low-budget comedies for laughs, it was time to switch the mood and provide something with power, action, and drama. Writer/Director David Branin has taken his love for basketball as the backdrop for our latest film. It doesn't hurt that his passion for basketball is matched by Actors/Producers Tyshawn Bryant and Daniel Sol. Together, they take basketball to it's highest intensity. Two men playing a game of 1 on 1 for their lives. This is one you do not want to miss.

Here are the exclusive pre-production photos taken on location last week.
